What if The Lotus Effect were to become a movie or TV series...who would you like to see play Lily and Xander? (Picking an actor for Xander isn't easy!) Let me know what you think. :)

Writing for Book #3, Soul Arbor, has gone swimmingly so far! I've incorporated a lot of research of the wonderfully ancient Nijo Castle of Kyoto. (I'll leave it at that due to spoilers) ANYWAYS, this song is a perfect match to the beginning of Soul Arbor. IF there was ever to be a movie...this would make a hauntingly beautiful opening theme song.

Okay, it's back to writing for me! #amwriting

Ardent Ascension has arrived!

I have an exciting announcement! As of today, Ardent Ascension is now available for purchase on Amazon in both eBook and paperback formats! Just in time too for The Lotus Effect’s one year anniversary! I’m thrilled to share this news with you as this has been something I've worked long and hard on. I would be OVERJOYED if you could take a moment to check it out!
Please help spread this news. I’d be forever grateful!

Thank you for being a part of this happy day!

Cheers,

Bridget Ladd

I've recently started making my way through Fairy Tail on Netflix . . . IT'S SO CUTE! I'm in love. And to add to the cuteness, it's a great story too! Definitely a feel good anime. ⊂(◉‿◉)つ

Here I am with my Fairy Tail painted tattoo at Dragon*Con this year. It was a last minute costume choice, but I think I'll dress as Lucy come Animazement next spring!

I designed some postcards to hide in random places at DragonCon and to place across the Land...coming to a cork board near you! Also, The Lotus Effect is only $2.99 this weekend if interested! That's like the price of a coffee—in exchange for an adventure!

Musings of a Madwoman.... Or just a Writer!

All of my handwritten notes...it's rare for something to take place in my stories that doesn't already have a purpose or some form of hidden symbolism. And if not, I'll find a way to make it so.
Since The Lotus Effect has been released, I'm moving onward with Ardent Ascension!
Wish me luck!

Parkour Galore! ~District B13~

This is a fight scene from the movie District B13 Ultimatum, the sequel to District B13. Both movies were AWESOME. I saw them a few years back on Netflix and have been trying to find a clip of this particular scene with Tao kicking some major tail.

My hair is long, I WANT HAIR BLADES TOO! On second thought...nah, I should probably pass on that.

Maybe that's what the basketball ref was referring to in the 8th grade when he made me take out my braid, saying I could use it as a weapon...(hah!) He must've grew up in District B13.

Anyways, they're great movies!

Attack On Titan—Is Crazy Good.

Just watched the first two episodes of this new anime called Attack On Titan last night . . . it was, crazy good, for lack of a better description, though a bit freaky! I found myself holding my breath a few times. It's about a town surrounded by walls that protect them from man-eating giants called Titans. A few of them have these hideous smiles that totally send shivers down my spine! I'm looking forward to the next episodes.

 Here's the trailer.

The Wolf Among Us, Fables Game!

http://www.telltalegames.com/thewolfamongus

I couldn't be more excited about the new Fable's game soon to be released by Telltale Games called, The Wolf Among Us, starring Bigby, aka The Big Bad Wolf. If you haven't read these comics, I highly recommend them. Bill Willingham is a master craftsman when it comes to storytelling and character development. I could also get into it about the whole 'Once Upon A Time' shenanigans, and how I would have much preferred a 'Fables' show, but I won't. Not today. Too excited to rant.

Thanks for stopping by, though this blog is currently under construction. I strive to post all things that make my eyes go O_O. Book news, Crafts, Cosplay, Armor Building, Favorite Games, Comics, Shows, Anime, Music. Very soon. Promise!
